One of the best movies about mortality ever made. At times, Errol Morris’s documentary on pet cemeteries plays like a Christopher Guest movie, but the general weirdness of the subjects is always counterbalanced by deep empathy and respect for their situations. For all the time they spend deciding the best way to inter dead animals, the pet owners and undertakers in this film just want to be remembered, in this life and after they pass.
