Kai Stinchcombe

Kai Stinchcombe is CTO of IncentAlign, a small enterprise software startup that uses markets to integrate the wisdom of crowds and prioritize scarce resources within large enterprises. He is president of the Peninsula Young Democrats and a PhD candidate in organizational behavior within the political science department at Stanford, writing a dissertation on the California budget process. He is a founder and former executive director of the Roosevelt Institution, a national network of student think tanks, where he served on staff from its founding in 2004 until the fall of 2007. At Stanford was president of the Stanford Democrats during the 2004 election and editor of the Stanford Progressive. While earning a BA in history and math at Colorado College he led one of the first successful campus living wage campaigns in the country. He is an elected member of the California Democratic Party Central Committee and the San Mateo County Democratic Party Central Committee, and has served as an advisor to several Bay Area nonprofits including the Rockridge Institute, Energy Crossroads, and Saga Foundation.
