Kyle graduated from University of California at Davis with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations. His interests lie in defense and security issues (particularly transatlantic relations), politics, literature, zymurgy and foreign languages. Kyle has worked in politics in Washington DC and for the California State Assembly, and also served as an intern for the International Staff at NATO Headquarters based in Brussels, Belgium. Kyle is currently applying to become an officer in the United States Army.
