Nigel recently earned a master’s degree in education from Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP). Prior to STEP, Nigel earned a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford. His interests include language acquisition, gender role development, primary education, preschool, foster care, and sex-ed policy. He is originally from Spangle, Washington, and spent much of his early adulthood working in early-childhood education in the greater Spokane area. Nigel is an elementary school teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area.
